So switching water bottles has been a challenge. There are so many do this and don't use that's out there that I finally had to pull my bootstraps up and jump.
We have chosen the propel flavoring. A. It is the best. It tastes the best... and well, it is shocking enough to switch the family. B. It is the easiest available. I can pick up at the local grocery.
Here is the process: I filter the water in our brita that we have had for awhile. I looked at other filters, but now I have this piture to get rid of and I also have the filters to go through. So to save time, money and waste, we are going to use what we have.
After the water is filtered, I add it to a 32 oz, Nalgene bottle. Yes... there are reports out there on this too.. but I have used Nalgene bottles for years and well... on we go. To the 32 oz, I add one packet of propel. You are supposed to add it to 17 oz of water... but it is too strong for us. Then, each of us have our own water bottle to poor into after that. So far, it is working very well. As it is not as convenient for the three year old to grab her own bottle of water from the pile, I have to make sure that her bottle is always full. We have seen a MASSIVE reduction in the size of the recycling bins! YEAH!!!
