My Vision for America

On www.change.gov, Obama's transitional website, he offers you the opportunity to share your vision of America.

Over the past few days, we have heard the Big 3 automakers, have been in discussions with Nancy Pelossi regarding a need for 50 billion more to help them survive. Wow! 75 Billion to help the struggling auto industry, who did nothing for years.

There is no doubt in my mind that the Big 3 do need to be saved. However, they need to be held accountable for what they have done. And what they have done, is turned a backside to providing cost effective and green modes of transportation.

With all of the talk of Obama's American Energy Grid, now is the perfect time to make the Big 3 change. In doing so, they need to provide highly efficient vehicles with low emissions. This is the perfect time for it to be done correctly and responsibly. If they can come up with a plan, there is no reason why we couldn't give them MORE money. If the plan is well thought out and could eventually lead to an easier passing of Obama's plan for a grid, then we would be on the right track.

Below is the content of my letter to Obama.

Pres Elect Obama,

Congratulations! I look forward to you and VP Elect Biden offering Americans some real leadership.

With the talk of the Big 3 Automakers asking for money, I do hope that you are getting involved in this. This is the time to lay the foundation of your grid where it pertains to personal transit.

What would the Big 3 need in order to provide cost effective and environmental vehicles to the masses? What connections to the American wide grid would they need to make this a truly viable option?

We need to be cautious of the Big 3 as history has shown they are profit driven. However, at this time, I think we could utilize their need to survive by supporting their move to a greener industry.

The green collar jobs created from this will be huge!

Thank you!
