So I think that today was a rockin' good day. There was a great find at work that I can be proud to move into the market and offer an awesome, eco-friendly product to the retail industry. Woo! I am not going to get excited because we are "dating". The manufacturer called me today and I am thrilled.
We also made a fantastic dinner. The Man popped some steaks on the grill and I stirred some organic mushrooms into a wok and a few ingredients later... enjoyed. Almost all of them. Thank God they are low in calories. Makes up for the peanut m&m's devoured at 1:20pm.
Anyhow, a note on organic cooking: It is really so easy. Yes... we could go nuts with organic everything... but to start, it really isn't possible. You would spend way to much getting all of those things into your kitchen at once. Grow your inventory. Like I said before, don't introduce new things into your home, that you cannot offer in an organic or fashion. If they like it... their sold.
There are instances, where trying to pass off organic will just not work. Organic cheese turkey hotdogs are easy to pass off... but popcorn fried chicken and french fries? A whole other story. We have moved to Eat Well Stay Healthy Chicken Popcorn Chicken and that will be my next investigation. I want to do a bit more research on the product. It isn't entire organic, but I have yet to find a fried freezer chicken that the farm-rasied Man will love. This one, he gives two thumbs up. Who am I to pee on approval?
